Poly house is a type of greenhouse where specialized polythene sheet is used as a covering material under which the crops can be grown in partially or fully controlled climatic conditions. Poly houses have a variety of applications, the majority being, growing of vegetables, floriculture, planting material acclimatization, fruit crop growing for export market.

Shade net houses

A Shade net house is a structure enclosed by agro nets or any other woven material to allow required sunlight, moisture and air to pass through the gaps. It creates an appropriate micro climate conducive to the plant growth. The agro shade net lasts for 3 to 5 years depending on the climatic condition. Shade nets are available in different colours with wide range of shade percentages.

    Naturally Ventilated Poly house

    The process of supplying and removing air through an indoor space without using mechanical systems. It refers to the flow of external air to an indoor space as a result of pressure or temperature differences.there should be at least one large vent placed near or on the roof of the greenhouse in order to allow heat to escape. There should also be several vents placed around the perimeter of the greenhouse, near the base. This allows for the best, most natural type of ventilation.

  • Fan and pad greenhouse construction

    The fan and pad system has been the standard system for evaporative cooling for more than 50 years. In this system, aspen or cellulose pads are mounted in one end wall or sidewall of the greenhouse. Air drawn through the wet pads by fans mounted in the opposite end wall or sidewall is saturated and cools the greenhouse.

    These are self-contained and come completely assembled ready to bolt to the wall. Installation time is reduced considerably. Only water and electrical connections have to be attached. Its advantages include more uniform cooling throughout the greenhouse, higher efficiency and lower maintenance costs.
